In 2022, the main devices and various equipment in Phase I of the project have been installed. With the efforts of single unit test run, linkage test run, system water transport, and instrument joint calibration, the feeding process from raw material storage tank to benzyl carbonate reactor has been successful at the beginning of the year, and the project has entered the most important link of operation.

Huasheng Polycarbonate Project is a national high-tech industry and a key industry supported by the state. It is listed as a provincial large-scale industrial project and a provincial key project. The total investment in the first phase of the project is 4.5 billion yuan, mainly including 224000 t/a diphenyl carbonate unit, 260000 t/a polycarbonate unit and other two process production units, 240000 t/a bisphenol A unit, 100000 t/a dimethyl carbonate unit and related supporting facilities.

After the first phase of the project is put into operation, it will achieve an annual output value of 7 billion yuan, annual profits and taxes of 2 billion yuan, and directly provide 700 jobs.

The total investment in the second phase of the project is planned to be 13 billion yuan, mainly to build 8 production units, including 600000 tons of PDH, 400000 tons of polypropylene, 530000 tons of cumene, 650000 tons of phenol and acetone combined units, to extend to the downstream PC alloy material industry. In June 2021, the second phase of the project will be delisted, and will be completed and put into operation during the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" period.
